Love in Action

It is a wonderful thing to love others, to actively respond to the needs and life’s challenges of our neighbors. NASA under the leadership of Christopher Premdas provides a platform for its committed staff, volunteers and partners to show Love in Action.

There are millions of people who are without food, clothing, shelter and care. In India, everywhere you go there is overwhelming need. We focus on the following groups of people:

  • Leprosy Victims: It is hard to fathom that leprosy still exists, but it does. NASA serves 120 precious people stricken with leprosy.
  • Old Aged/ Elderly:  The elderly people in NASA’s target villages are sometimes abandoned by their families or are in pitiable conditions with poverty, health problems and loneliness.
  • Rural groups with no or very little amenities and access. 70% of India is rural. While one hand rural India is full of life, energy and color, there there are many villages with very few amenities and access. NASA serves 800 villages.
